Pulse Pace Fitness was born from Jay’s deeply personal transformation. For years, Jay battled emotional eating and unhealthy habits—binge eating late at night, ordering full family meals and consuming them alone, constantly searching for a quick fix to feel better. He tried it all: extreme diets like the Bernstein plan, one meal a day, severely restricting calories, cutting out entire food groups, and relying on supplements like Lipozene and Hydroxycut. But nothing ever stuck.
It wasn’t until Jay hit a breaking point that he made the decision to change—for real. No more shortcuts. No more excuses. He committed to the long game: eating better, moving daily, and showing up for himself no matter what.
Through consistency and discipline, Jay dropped from 365 lbs to 190 lbs and transformed not only his body but his mindset. And most importantly, he’s kept the weight off.
That transformation lit a fire—and from it, Pulse Pace Fitness was created. We’re built on the same foundation that got Jay through his journey:
